I have represented individuals and business in a wide range of complex legal matters, including violations of civil rights, personal injury, business disputes, insurance coverage, and construction defects. I have tried more than a hundred cases, including jury trials, in both state and federal courts. I have assisted my clients in recovering substantial judgments in personal injury and construction defect cases, as well as substantial settlements in insurance coverage cases.

I have also presented oral arguments before state and federal appellate courts in more than fifty appeals, the last of which involving a civil rights case before eleven justices of the United States Court of Appeals for the Ninth Circuit, sitting en banc, in December, 2010.
