Welcome

I have devoted my entire adult life to the practice of law, which I continue to enjoy after more than 39 years. I have represented individuals and business in a wide range of complex legal matters, including violations of civil rights, personal injury, business disputes, insurance coverage, and construction defects. I have tried more than a hundred cases, including jury trials, in both state and federal courts. My clients have recovered judgments exceeding one million dollars in personal injury and construction defect cases.

I have also presented oral arguments before state and federal appellate courts in more than fifty appeals, the last of which involving a civil rights case before eleven justices of the United States Court of Appeals for the Ninth Circuit, sitting en banc, in December, 2010.

I believe that I can help you level the playing field should you have to go to court against a well-funded opponent with a lot of legal firepower, the prospect of which can overwhelm the average person.
